Our Origins
The Short story…… Summer 2015
The company name, Nature is Calling, came about as a result of an incredible summer travel experience with a few friends. As our trip was winding down and we sat together for one last time, each couple, soon to be back in “their world" reflected upon the time spent together. We started talking about the incredible rejuvenating effect of being in nature. We noted how refreshed we felt. We talked about how extremely important it is for us to enjoy and protect nature!
Although each of us regularly spend time in nature and enjoy the outdoors, the experience of truly engaging in and with nature is oftentimes muted by such things as the task at hand, thought of the day, or what’s next on my list…….
We came up with the phrase, Nature is Calling, to remind us of nature’s peaceful effect.
Frequently we’ll text the words to each other, a subtle reminder. Now we have developed a few, very intentional, mother earth friendly, products for you.
The message is simple…..Nature is Calling!
"Nature’s cleansing, calming and strengthening effect, its natural ability to put life in perspective, is a powerful tool. Not a new concept - It’s written about in literature across the ages, in self help books, and in many personal journals. The importance is to stay connected with nature because……. through our connection comes respect and because of this respect we will protect – ourselves, each other and our planet." MJ
